Why choose Lawnbrook
Experts in Care
Home from Home
We want all our residents to feel at home with us and have their physical, emotional and spiritual needs fully catered for. You might find this is a care home near me. Our focus is firmly on ‘the individual’ and we are committed to engaging those in our care and enabling each person to lead an active, fulfilled and independent life. Our staff recognise that individuality means listening to what people tell them and ensuring every day is thoroughly enjoyable.
Key to this is getting to know who our residents are – their likes and dislikes, their families and friends, their careers, the choices they have made and the challenges they’ve overcome. The more we know, the better we can tailor our care.
We enrich the lives of our residents with the fantastic services we provide in our Homes. We have a wide selection of daily activities and r outings to suit all tastes.
We take special pride in the food we serve and the dining experience we provide every day. Food is such an important aspect of life, and we continuously strive to offer great looking and great tasting food in inviting surroundings, catering for both nutritional needs and individual taste preferences.

Our Activities
At Lawnbrook, we design each day to help residents lead interesting, active, happy lives, with the chance to try new things as well as enjoying the hobbies they already love.
Working with residents and team, our Lifestyle Coordinator crafts an inspiring and varied programme of events, activities and social get-togethers, bringing stimulation and creativity into all our lives.
We love any sort of games, from crosswords and puzzles to bingo and quiz nights and have light-hearted competitions that our residents throw themselves into. In our cinema room, we screen regular films, choosing old favourites and newer discoveries as well as welcoming live entertainers to strut their stuff. We enjoy a full programme of activities, including arts and crafts, flower arranging, exercise classes, movement to music and chair yoga. Whatever the people who live here enjoy, we try to bring it to our home; promoting happiness, mobility and sociability.
Our team is dedicated to meeting individual needs and work with those living with dementia to create peace of mind. Team members run reminiscence sessions as well as ones that stimulate the senses as they find both are highly effective in boosting wellbeing. The staff are trained in activities for the elderly in a care home.
Mealtimes are important to us too, and we make each one a highlight of the day. At beautifully presented tables, our imaginative catering team serve home-cooked favourites from fresh seasonal produce, catering to specific dietary needs and cultural preferences. On birthdays, our chef even bakes a specially decorated cake to mark the big day so we can celebrate in style.
