Our Residents Don’t Live In Our Workplace, We Work In Their Home.
We are proud of the culture we share across our Home. Our staff know that they are an important part of the Lawnbrook family, each playing a vital role in providing the highest standard of care to our residents. Underpinning that care is a set of values we all share – principles we believe in and strive to work to every day. With our residents and each other in mind, we follow this set of six values which help focus and inspire the work that we do. They shape our identity as a care company and truly reflect what we value most:
Our Care
- Recognising personal preferences
- Responding to residents’ needs quickly.
- Ensuring residents’ dignity
Our Compassion
- Always being kind and friendly
- Understanding residents and showing empathy
- Remaining patient in all situations
Our Competence
- Knowing residents’ health and social needs
- Staying up to date with residents’ care plans
- Delivering effective person-centred care
- Following all Care Home Regulations set by CQC
Our Commitment
- Always striving to improve care services
- Constantly improving our personal and professional performance
- Upholding Lawnbrook’s company values
- Be the Best Care Home Providers
Our Communication
- Listening to residents and colleagues
- Sharing information with residents and staff teams
- Being aware of how our words and actions affect others
Our Courage
- Always doing the right thing for the people we care for
- The ability to manage difficult situations and emotions
- Having the confidence to suggest ideas and embracing new ways of working
It is important that our values speak to all of us and for all of us as a united team, and this means across the board – directors, managers, nursing, care and well-being staff, domestic staff and administrative, catering and maintenance staff – we all play our part in making sure Lawnbrook by these values and we are committed to recognising our staff who show dedication to them
